Nico Bolzico instructed his Instagram followers on how to pronounce his daughter's name through a video he posted on Tuesday, January 7.

In the video, the 36-year-old entrepreneur is seen saying, "Basically, what I'm gonna teach you how to pronounce properly some names of famous people, especially our daughter that people doesn't know."

Bolzico started off by jokingly pronouncing the names of their close friends, including [Wil] "El Dasovich," Matteo "Pork belly" [Guidicelli], and "Jor-jai-nuh" [Georgina] Wilson.

He then perfectly enunciated the names of his wife Solenn, Erwan Heussaff, and Anne Curtis-Heussaff.

To end the video, he said the proper pronunciation of his daughter's name is "Tee-La-Ne Ka-ta-na."

Solenn corrected Nico and said it was actually pronounced as "Tee-lahn."

Nico and Solenn have yet to share the reason why they picked this name for their baby girl.

But, according to babywizard.com, Thylane means "wild orchid." It comes from the Vietnamese words "thùy" meaning "let down, suspend, hang," and "lan," which means "orchid."

Nico and Solenn welcomed their baby girl on January 1, Wednesday.

Solenn gave birth via cesarean section at St. Lukes Medical Center - Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
