These Very Rare Things Are Up For Auction This Weekend
European-Filipino art pieces go under the gavel at the Primero and Segundo online auctions of Palacio de Memoria's auction house, Casa de Memoria. The online auction will be held on May 30 and 31 at 2 p.m.
Lifestyle personalities Kaye Tinga and Juana Manahan-Yupangco revealed their picks from the lineup of rare European-Filipino art pieces.

For her pick, Tinga chose the English-style swivel armchair and a Napoleon III Pietra Dura Commode. The leather armchair and the ebonized and ormolu-embellished commode lend the right touch of luxury and sophistication to anyone's living space.

On the other hand, Yupangco has a personal taste for antiques that stir up nostalgia. She has her eyes on a pair of polychrome garden pots with male and female gypsies, the silver salt cellar with blackamoor, and the Neo-Gothic ivory triptych portable altar—all of which remind her of her childhood.

The two auctions will feature a total of 360 lots, 120 for Primero and 240 for Segundo, with pieces ranging from must-have sculptures and centerpieces to paintings, furniture, and religious antiques.
Aside from the tastemakers’ chosen items, the online auction also features exceedingly rare artworks, heirlooms of European-Filipino provenance, and historical pieces.
