Tom Cruise Rightfully Loses His Shit When Production Crew Breaks COVID-19 Protocols
Tom Cruise is definitely not known as a saint in Hollywood. His temper has flared more than once on screen, but this time, Cruise’s rage behind the scenes was caught on tape in one very pissed off one-sided shouting match against the rew of Mission: Impossible for breaking COVID-19 safety protocols.
In short, he lost his sh*t. Gloriously.
You can listen the entire cuss-filled screaming show here.
It’s a wild ride to listen to, but we have to say, while Cruise might have used some choice words to express himself, he made many points.
All eyes are on the action star as he leads the M:I7 cast and crew into production. A number of Hollywood films and movies have been delayed or entirely scrapped due to the pandemic, with thousands of crew members out of work. And so Cruise, whose star power undoubtedly allowed the continuation of M:I7’s shooting, is feeling the heavy weight of keeping the ship running and preventing studios from pulling the plug at any minute.
The seriousness of the pandemic, coupled with spotting two of the crew not practicing social distancing, made Cruise blow a fuse, leading up to one very furious rant, in which he railed at two members of the crew with around 50 others present.
“If I see you do it again, you’re f**king gone. And if anyone in this crew does it, that’s it—and you too and you too. And you, don’t you ever fu**king do it again,” screamed Cruise.
But to be honest, it was a glorious moment caught on tape.
“We are the gold standard. They’re back there in Hollywood making movies right now because of us. Because they believe in us and what we’re doing.
“I’m on the phone with every f**king studio at night, insurance companies, producers and they’re looking at us and using us to make their movies. We are creating thousands of jobs, you mother**kers.
“No apologies. You can tell it to the people who are losing their f**king homes because our industry is shut down. It’s not going to put food on their table or pay for their college education. That’s what I sleep with every night—the future of this f**king industry!”
Someone finally give this guy an Oscar.
