This is what happens when you give Sandwich a bike, a GoPro, and a selfie stick.

Imagine listening to Sandwich or Eraserheads while stuck in Metro Manila traffic, then turning your head to find Raymund Marasigan swerving between cars with a GoPro attached to his bike. That was the out-of-this-world scenario a number of drivers experienced when Marasigan filmed the official music video for Sandwich’s new single “Buhol Buhol.”

The music video, which premiered online today, features lead vocalist Marasigan biking through Quezon City rush hour in a single four-minute continuous shot. Marasigan doesn’t stop once during the one-shot take as he bikes down Aurora Boulevard, passing by EDSA crossing and Gateway Mall, which you can see in the background.

Sandwich, composed of Marasigan, Diego Castillo, Mong Alcaraz, Myrene Academia, and Mike Dizon, released "Buhol Buhol" earlier this year.

According to Marasigan, Sandwich couldn’t book the director they wanted for the music video shoot because of schedule conflicts. After scrapping the idea of walking through standstill traffic, which they already did for “Lakad,” they settled on the concept of biking through rush hour. So with nothing but a GoPro, a selfie stick, and zero cash, Marasigan set off the next morning to shoot the one-shot music video on his bike along the busy roads of Quezon City.

We’re sure we’re not the only ones that were holding our breath as the local musician squeezed between jeepneys and buses.

It’s a fitting music video to a song about the trials of traffic in Metro Manila. Plus, it’s a good lesson to be nice to bikers on the road. You never know if it might be a badass musician filming a music video, and you really don’t want to be the guy who accidentally hits a local rock star with your car.
