Also performing during the music festival set on March 7 and 8 is Nashville, Tennessee-based artist Stephen Day. The American singer-songwriter plays a soulful mix of acoustic-driven pop-rock and has been compared to artists like Lake Street Dive, Ben Rector, and John Mayer.

On Spotify, some of Day’s most-streamed tracks include “Autumn’s Song,” “Dancing in the Street,” and “If You Were the Rain,” all of which highlight his solid vocals that throws back to the golden age of big band crooners.

CRWN, of course, is the alter ego of King Puentespina, a producer, songwriter and beat maker. Alternative sould band Banna Harbera is a familiar presence in the country’s local gig circuit. The five-piece band composed of Yzabel Torres, Jake Masigan, Justin Mendoza, Katrice Reyes, and Patrick Felipe actually won the Wanderband competition in 2017, alongside Mickey Sulit and Lola Amour. This time, the group is coming off of the release of their debut album Kept in Mind, and will no doubt have a few surprises for Wanderland audiences.

These eight artists join the previously announced first wave lineup, which include Japanese-American folk-electronic and R&B artist Joji, English rock band Foals, American singer-songwriter Sabrina Claudio, R&B and neo-soul artist Ari Lennox, pop and R&B singer Raveena, British pop and R&B singer-songwriter Bruno Major, Welsh multi-instrumentalist Novo Amor, American singer-songwriter Omar Apollo, as well as Filipino bands Ben&Ben, Flu, Ysanygo, and IV of Spades.

The Wanderland Music and Arts Festival happens on March 7 and 8, 2020 at the Filinvest City Events Grounds in Alabang, Muntinlupa. For tickets, head on over to the Wanderland website.
