The Fyre Festival Hero is Now Evian’s Endorser

All in honor of his infamous team spirit.

In 2019, Andy King became a social media sensation when the Netflix documentary, Fyre: The Greatest Party that Never Happened trended.

The reason? King revealed that, at one point, Fyre CEO and organizer Billy McFarland asked him to “take one for the team” by performing oral sex on the customs minister of the Bahamas in exchange for releasing their truckloads of Evian bottled water that was held at customs.

“But I’ve been taking one for the team every day!” King narrates his disbelief at McFarland’s outrageous command.

“I literally drove home, took a shower, drank some mouthwash, and got in my car to drive across the island to take one to the team,” King says. “I got to his office fully prepared to suck his d**k.

“I was going to do that, honestly, to save the festival.”

Because of the two-minute reel, King became an Internet hero, spawning memes all over social media.

Now, a year after that notorious revelation, Evian has decided to make King the new face of its water.

 

 

“On the one year anniversary of my doc debut, @evianwater is releasing a special bottle with a new slogan… all in honor of my infamous team spirit,” writes King in his caption on his Instagram post.
