Bongbong Marcos Tested For Coronavirus After a Trip to Spain
Former senator Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos is reportedly feeling unwell after a recent trip to Spain. The news was confirmed by Senator Imee Marcos who also said her brother "felt lousy."
In a text message to ABS-CBN, the senator said, "He came back from Spain unwell... Getting better at home. Finally got a test two nights ago... wala pang result."
Marcos mentioned that she hasn't seen her brother, but his situation seemed to be improving. She also added she and her mother former Philippine first lady Imelda Marcos are okay.
On Monday, the Department of Health assured there is no policy for VIP treatment in conducting tests. "All specimens are being processed on a first-in, first-out basis," it said in a statement. While adding there is "courtesy accorded to officials holding positions of national security and public health."
