Brandblack is one of the sneaker world's under-the-radar favorites. Founded in 2012 by David Raysse, it's a brand that plays with technology to bring the most current styles and impressive fits. Or, in simpler terms, it does the job and more without the gaudy trappings.

The brand's sneakers have just the right amount of chunk and have that bit of retro we all like. That's in part because of Raysse's extensive experience under Fila as the lead designer of running, training, and basketball and Adidas as director of basketball.

Of course, copping such an underrated sneaker means it's pretty hard to get. Thankfully, everyone's favorite boutique, Commonwealth, has just got in on the action. Brandblack's latest drop is now available at the just re-opened store. Check out Commonwealth's selection of Brandblack in Greenbelt 5. Here are five of our favorites.
