How to Be Pogi, According to Yorme Isko Moreno

No needles, no invasive surgery.

Along with revitalizing Manila, Mayor Isko Moreno, a.k.a. Yorme is known for his good looks and charm. While being charming is something you can develop, being attractive takes a bit more work.

That doesn't mean, however, that you should just give up. (Hang in there.) After all, Rome wasn't built in a day.

Luckily, Esquire caught up with the politician and former actor, who shared his top tips on how to be pogi.

Read it. Learn it. Live it. And hopefully soon, you too will be like Yorme.

1| Take care of your skin.

Now, this seems like a doozy... and pretty much silly coming from Moreno, seeing as he admits to only using water on his face (and a bit of cleansing soap once in a while). But, having a good skincare routine still stands.

Not all of us are as blessed to do the same, so instead of copying Yorme's one-step routine, maybe do with a four-step grooming regimen instead?

2| Do Thermage FLX (in the name of public service, of course).

Moreno was as apprehensive about cosmetic treatments as any guy would be at the start. After meeting with Dr. Vicki Belo and clarifying his doubts about Thermage, he reconsidered and did it. That is, only after Belo donated to his charity of choice.

So, go ahead, get that cosmetic treatment done—with a charitable component, preferably.

3| Keep (most) things natural.

Thermage does improve the appearance of aging skin as the treatment can tighten loose and sagging skin and smoothen fine lines and wrinkles. It was still important for Moreno to keep some of his wrinkles though.

He says, "I earned [my wrinkles]. Why would I want to get rid of them?"
