The BGC-Ortigas Link Bridge Is One Step Closer to Being Complete
The 12-minute ride from Pasig to Taguig is going to happen sooner rather than later.

Department of Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark Villar posted a picture from YouTuber Dimitri Valencia showing that the two ends of the BGC Ortigas Link Bridge have finally connected midway over the Pasig River.
Construction of the 961-meter bridge started way back in 2017, and it’s almost done. While it looks almost complete, the bridge won't be open until 2021. That's one more thing to look forward to next year.
The P1.6 billion-project will help reduce traffic and travel to and from Bonifacio Global City and Ortigas so motorists now have another alternative to EDSA and C5.
The Taguig end of the bridge connects to 8th Avenue in Uptown Bonifacio while the Pasig side of the bridge connects to Kapitolyo.
